- In Semester 2 2024, I’m coordinating a course in the Master of Media program at RMIT University called Contemporary Media Work Practices.
- I’m also running an undergraduate media studio called Augmenting Creativity, where we’re exploring the utility and applicability of generative AI tools to creative, academic, and everyday workflows.
- I’ve drafted an article that proffers a media materialist method for analysing AI-generated images and video. I’ll be revising this over the next few months before submitting to an academic journal.
- I’m developing a couple of talks on generative AI for events later in the year, that I’ll build out into a paper on diverse developments in generative AI.
- I’m writing a … something … that’s a kind of bureaucratic sci-fi systems thriller. I think. I manage to throw a couple of ideas into my notes every other week (for now the idea exists solely in fragments in my Obsidian).
- I am currently reading The Tainted Cup by Robert Jackson Bennett.
- My partner and I are watching Season 2 of The Traitors (UK).
